Dean Douglas appointed Ceo of Unify

Unify − formerly known as Siemens Enterprise Communications − a leading global software and services for communications, has announced the appointment of Douglas Dean as Ceo. He succeeds to Hamid Akhavan who had assumed the position of chief executive officer in February 2010, coming from Deutsche Telekom.
Douglas currently holds the position of President and Ceo of Westcon Group, Inc., a distributor of technology solutions for business, and was previously Ceo of Lcc Internationale, and has previously worked as senior management roles in both Ibm and Motorola. Douglas will assume his position on January 16, 2014 while Akhavan will join the board of directors, where he will continue to support the business of Unify.
