Scm Group won the Panda Award "The best Italian SME in China"

Prestigious prize for Scm Group China Co.Ltd., awarded with the “Golden Panda Award – 2012 Edition” in “The Best Italian SME in China” category  “… for the effective approach to its investments in the Chinese market in 2011 and plans for further development in 2012. “
A prize to the dynamism, tenacity and commitment demonstrated by Scm Group in this part of the world, a strong and growing market, interested in technology for the woodworking’s most innovative, high performance solutions that are real reference points worldwide.

“I’d like to emphasize  − said the Chinese branch manager Marco Rampichini withdrawing the prize – that it was a success of the  “Made in Italy” technology, to which also contributed the supplies of iron castings for gearboxes of the Chinese “Freccia Rossa” (Red Arrow), the bullet train “Crh”, supplied by our group to the manufacturer Alstom“.

Ten years after the creation of first Scm Group company in China, and after a long history of commercial partnerships, the “Golden Panda 2012” also celebrates the performance made ​​by Scm Group China Trading in the last 36 months, with a revenue growth of 46.5 percent per year.

The award was presented last June 16 in Shanghai in the hands of Marco Rampichini during a gala evening attended by the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China Franco Cutrupia, the General Consul of Italy in Shanghai Vincenzo De Luca and Director of Ice Ice Beijing Antonino Laspina.
