Weeke: sold within 900 days the 1000th "Bhx 050/055" machine

Finally, in the middle of November 2011 a milestone has been achieved: the 1000th customer decided for using a machine of the “Bhx 050/055” series by Weeke (Homag Group). A full 1000 machines sold within about 900 days – since its market launch at the Ligna 2009 – speak for themselves.
“Apart from the little space requirement of less than 5 m² the multi talent features a very simple operation compared to other Cnc machines while encompassing all relevant machining steps, especially for the carcass production.It’s a machine concept which does not require any setting-up we are talking about.” , Werner Brinkhaus, head of the Cnc product management of Weeke Bohrsysteme GmbH said. “The second significant advantage is its price“, Mr.Brinkhaus adds. He emphasizes: “Even if the quality attribute “Made in Germany” is often associated with high prices, this machine stands for an absolutely attractive price-performance ratio.The cost structure was reduced by offering only a limited range of options and the standardization effecting thereof.The price structure resulting from this ideally fits into the market segment of the Cnc entry class, all over the world”.
