Kitchen furniture’s turnover increasing in Germany

Turnover of kitchen furniture manufacturers in Germany in 2010 reached € 3.8 billion, an increase of 1.9 percent compared to the previous year. On the domestic market, the increase was 1.1 per cent, while  in the export 2.5 percent.
The export share rose to 37 percent, the highest value of all sectors of the industry.
The Vddk statistics Vddk (Kitchen furniture manufacturer association) refers to companies with fewer than 50 employees.
For the current year the association expects a further upward trend, especially exports.
