Interzum forum italy Award 2026 returns
Born within interzum forum italy, the networking event for furniture and interior design suppliers that will once again take place in Bergamo on 4–5 June 2026, the interzum forum italy Award returns for its second edition and the list of jurors has been announced: Luisa Bocchietto, former president WDO – World Design Organization; Cristina Boeri, co-director of the Master in Sensory Surface Design, POLI.design, Politecnico di Milano; Tristine Hargreaves, executive director National Bed Federation; Frederik Lauwaert, managing director Ebia; Sascha Peters, innovation consultant and materials expert Haute Innovation; Marc Sadler, designer; Dick Spierenburg, designer.
The experts will be called upon to evaluate the applications submitted by 17 April 2026 through the dedicated form on the event website.
The awards will be presented in the Innovation and ESG & Sustainability categories for each of the three thematic areas of interzum forum italy: Functions & Components, Materials & Nature, Textile & Machinery.
The names of the winning companies, the honorable mentions and the motivations will be announced during the award ceremony to be held on 4 June at the exhibition in the Trend Stage area. Communication activities by interzum forum italy — through the website, social media, newsletters and the dedicated exhibition route — will give maximum visibility to the winners and to the companies that have further distinguished themselves thanks to the Award.
The second edition of interzum forum italy, themed “Beyond the Furniture Towards the Future”, will offer a cross-sector overview of the evolution of design through the three areas Functions & Components, Materials & Nature and Textile & Machinery. Interior design will be the common thread running through the program, enriched by strategic partnerships and international speakers. Integration with Surface in Motion Italia, organized by the German trade magazine möbelfertigung, will strengthen the focus on decorative surfaces and wood-based materials, consolidating the forum as a benchmark for trends, dialogue and networking.
