Holzbau Forum at Xylexpo: the program
A day of in-depth discussion dedicated to new manufacturing processes for timber construction, with a focus on efficiency, automation, artificial intelligence, prefabrication and quality control. This is the core of the Holzbau Forum, scheduled for Tuesday, 9 June 2026 as part of Xylexpo, the international biennial exhibition of technologies for the woodworking and furniture industry, to be held at Fieramilano Rho.
The conference, entitled “Manufacturing processes in timber construction: efficient, optimized, automated”, will bring together Italian and international experiences on some of the most topical issues for the timber construction sector: from computational design to the direct generation of production data, as well as the use of robotics, prefabrication and the management of complex structures.
The session will be moderated by Giuseppe Mosconi, of CQ-Costruire in Qualità. The event has been granted 3 CFP by the Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri; participation will also entitle engineers and surveyors to professional education credits, according to the procedures established by the relevant professional orders and colleges.
Below is the programme for the day.
