Lamello at Sicam with “Cabineo”

At Sicam, Lamello will also present “Cabineo“, a one-piece connector for cabinets and furniture structures developed to reduce processing and assembly times.
The system can be used with different types of CNC machines, as machining is carried out exclusively on the panel surface, with no need for edge drilling. The connector is inserted directly into the routed recess and can be fitted either in the workshop or on site during furniture assembly.

Once Cabineo is positioned, the pre-assembled screw in the connector is driven with a standard cordless screwdriver into the 5 mm hole in the mating panel. The high clamping force makes it possible to achieve stable joints and tightly closed seams even without the use of wooden dowels.
The elimination of dowels and the related machining operations is one of the main aspects highlighted by Lamello: fewer production steps and a simpler assembly procedure, both in series production and in applications where installation is carried out directly on site.

“Cabineo”, available in white and black versions, is designed for the production of cabinets and furniture structures where fast machining, straightforward assembly and high clamping force are key elements of the production process.
