Biesse: North America at the centre of investment

The group hosted the third Business Networking Group meeting at its Charlotte showroom, focusing on growth opportunities for Italian companies in the United States.

North America continues to represent an important market for Biesse, which has strengthened its direct presence in the United States over the years and continues to invest in developing its activities in the region. This journey was also at the centre of the third Business Networking Group (BNG) meeting, held on 29 August at Biesse’s showroom in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event brought together Italian companies, institutional representatives and members of the local business community to discuss investment and growth prospects in the United States.

Representing Biesse were Roberto Selci, CEO of the group, and Federico Broccoli, CEO of Biesse America, who led the session entitled “Italian Innovation and Growth in the United States”. The two managers reviewed the company’s experience in the US market, focusing on the group’s Italian roots, innovation and investments in North America, as well as Biesse’s role in connecting Italian technology and expertise with the needs of American industry.

The meeting was also attended by Marco Peronaci, Italian Ambassador to the United States, Nico Frandi, Consul General of Italy in Philadelphia, and Valentina Cecchi, Honorary Consul of Italy in North Carolina.
The discussion covered topics including competitiveness, innovation, skills availability and the opportunities offered by the Carolinas to companies looking to expand their presence in the United States.
According to Biesse, the Charlotte event marks the beginning of a series of Business Networking Group meetings set to continue in North Carolina, with the aim of strengthening relations between Italian companies, institutions and the local business community.
