A Finnish national, he has extensive experience in trade associations and politics, having previously held the position of Managing Director at the Federation of Envelopes, Light Packaging, and E-commerce Packaging (FEPE). He holds a degree in business administration from Turku University of Applied Sciences and has been living in Brussels since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Rantanen will succeed Clive Pinnington, who has decided to step down at the end of June 2025. Pinnington, 59, joined Epf in 2015 following a successful career in the industrial sector, notably serving as Senior Vice-President at a multinational adhesives and resins company specializing in wood-based panels. During his ten-year tenure, he played a key role in advancing the federation\u2019s objectives, combining technical expertise with advocacy skills.
