This vote puts an end to an initial distortion introduced, in the ENVI Commission, by the classification of high quality recycling, according to which wood packaging transformed into chipboard, would not have been considered high quality recycling<\/em>&#8220;. FederlegnoArredo said in a note following the vote in Strasbourg on the European packaging directive.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Instead, our proposal states that a recycling action is defined as high quality when it generates material of sufficient quality to replace the starting raw materials that can be reintroduced into the supply chain, even for purposes other than the packaging from which it derives.
