Between the past and the future, we retraced its steps, between innovation and&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More than sixty years in business, a story of tradition, growth and innovation, going through different stages of the company and the country. When <strong>Durante<\/strong> <strong>&amp; Vivan <\/strong>(then transformed into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duranteadesivi.com\/\"><strong>Durante Adesivi<\/strong><\/a>) was born, in 1962, Italy was different: it was a country approaching a period of economic boon, of constant change, defining new values. Luigi and Tarcisio Durante transferred such values to their creature born in Friuli, one of the most innovative districts for mechanical engineering and woodworking.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s a long story about Durante &amp; Vivan growing from \u201cjust\u201d an idea of its founders to a strong industrial organization, a major player in the production of PUR-based hot-melt reactive adhesives, with headquarters in Prata di Pordenone and another production site in Cecchini di Pasiano (Pordenone), sales offices and r&amp;d laboratories in Germany, and a sales subsidiary in the UK, distributing their products all over the world.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2008\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2008\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2008\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante-300x188.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante-768x480.png 768w, https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante-600x375.png 600w, https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante-500x313.png 500w, https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Fratelli-Durante.png 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-2008\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Durante brothers. On the left Tarcisio, passed away last 27 August, on the right Luigi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A versatile company, constantly changing, now including three brands besides Durante Adesivi: <strong>Sirca<\/strong> and <strong>Polistuc<\/strong>, specialising in wood paints, metal paints and resins, and <strong>Technogel<\/strong>, specialising in coloured pastes, gelcoat and putties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KEYWORD: SUSTAINABILITY<br \/>\nThis long story is continuing today with a keyword that drives future developments: <strong>sustainability<\/strong>, a \u201chot topic\u201d in Prata di Pordenone, a basic concept for the industry and the planet. Since 2018, Durante Adesivi has committed to the development of <em>bio-based<\/em> products using vegetal raw materials from agricultural waste and certified forests, to safeguard the environment. <br \/>\n\u201c<em>This process stems from the commitment to help reduce CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions in accordance with the European Green Deal, to minimize the impact on climate changes. In 2021 we also launched the new \u201cNatura\u201d brand that identifies a range of bio-based products created to offer a more sustainable way of manufacturing furniture to our customers. This range features polyurethane hot melt adhesives with a low content of \u201cfree\u201d isocyanate, label free \u2013 without risk symbols \u2013 and therefore safer for users\u2019 health.<br \/>\nA long story but still many chapters to write, \u201cgreen\u201d on white, starting with the next edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exposicam.it\/\"><strong>Sicam<\/strong><\/a>, the trade fair in Pordenone dedicated to the world of semi-finished products, in which Durante Adhesives will participate in <strong>hall 6, booth B19<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/francescocinverso\/\">(f.i.)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.duranteadesivi.com\/\">duranteadesivi.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Durante Adesivi is one of the historical brands in the wood adhesives sector.
