Marco Ghirardello<\/strong> has been appointed as the new president and ceo of Fanuc Europe Corporation<\/strong>. He succeeds Shinichi Tanzawa<\/strong>, who has led Fec since 2016, who will now take up a new role at the Fanuc Corporation headquarters in Japan.

In Fanuc since 1994, Marco Ghirardello brings to his new position at Fec an important wealth of experience and knowledge, gained in a career spanning almost 30 years. Most recently, Ghirardello was appointed Senior Vice President of Fanuc Europe, and was responsible for the European Factory Automation division, which includes cnc systems. Prior to that, Ghirardello was Managing Director of Fanuc Turkey, first, and Fanuc Italy, later, contributing concretely to Fanuc’s expansion in Europe.

Fanuc Europe recorded a record turnover of more than EUR 1 billion<\/strong> in the last financial year ending March 2023, and the number of employees in the European subsidiaries exceeded 2,000.
