United by a joint Allow us to open this article about the collaboration between Lamello<\/strong>, the Swiss specialist of wood joining systems, and Ascari Wood&Design<\/strong>, a Modena-based carpenter\u2019s shop, with this joke for \u201cindustry insiders\u201d. A joke to start telling the story of a unity of purpose based on \u201cP-System<\/strong>\u201d.
\n“P-System has revolutionised how we work and our method of assembly, saving us massive amounts of time.<\/em> All I can say is thank you, Lamello<\/em>“, said Filippo<\/strong> Ascari<\/strong>, son of the business founder.<\/p>\n

From \u201cP-System\u201d to a wide range of solutions created by Lamello. \u201cEach year<\/em> \u2013 according to Ascari \u2013 between 5,000 and 6,000 furniture joints are used, including \u201cClamex P-14<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cTenso P-14<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cDivario P-18<\/strong><\/em>\u201d.
\nClamex joints are used in every project for wardrobes, kitchens, bathrooms, and bookcases. “When we discovered the benefits of the \u201cP-System\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Ascari continued \u2013 we had a meeting with all production employees and decided that, from then on, we\u2019d only ever use \u201cClamex\u201d.<\/em> We get on well, also because sometimes there are pieces of furniture that have to be disassembled and sent off for painting.<\/em> During assembly, for example, a piece can sometimes get damaged.<\/em> With \u201cP-System\u201d, now we have the option to leave the furniture with the customer and replace only the damaged piece.<\/em> benefit both us and the customer\u201d.<\/em> The furniture is pre-assembled in the shop, where the staff check that everything is in conformity. It\u2019s then disassembled and painted within two days. Ascari\u2019s in-house fitters deliver everything to the customer and the furniture is assembled on site. A benefit for the producer, who does not need to reprocess the piece of furniture, but only individual parts in case of inaccuracies or defects.<\/p>\n

Not only joints. The partnership between the two organizations has also been extended to \u201ccutting\u201d and, for jobs not processed on the cnc working center, the \u201cZeta P2<\/strong>\u201d milling machine is used.
\n\u201cAs a test customer \u2013 they told us at Lamello \u2013 the carpentry company Ascari Wood & Design was invited to use the Zeta P2 battery in advance of the sales launch in September. It was used at a villa in Rimini, where playhouses had to be connected in the children’s room at 45 and 57-degree angles\u201d.<\/p>\n
