Maderalia is getting set. The first meeting of the Organising Committee for the specialist event for materials and components for furniture, interior design and Contract projects that, alongside machinery and technology, forms part of biennial trade fair FIMMA + Maderalia, took place to launch preparations for the next edition of the fair, slated to take place in 2024. The definitive dates will be set following a FIMMA Organising Committee meeting scheduled for the end of this month.<\/p>\n
Maderalia has already formed a revamped organising Committee that has a new chairman at the helm: Valencia business leader Alejandro Bermejo<\/strong> (Alto Turia). The committee also ranges across a broad spectrum of business and industry profiles, including a notable number of women.<\/p>\n Along with Bermejo the Maderalia Committee includes Francisco Bernabeu<\/strong> (Puertas Castalla), Jorge Blanquer<\/strong> (Maderas y Chapas Blanquer), Ram\u00f3n Gabarr\u00f3<\/strong> (Gabarr\u00f3), M\u00f3nica Aznar<\/strong> (Emedec), Ramiro Llop<\/strong> (Krion \u2013 Porcelanosa Grupo), Encarna Torito<\/strong> (Cantisa), Juan Carlos Poveda<\/strong> (Sambeat) and Mario Aristoy<\/strong> (Lamiplast).<\/p>\n 40th anniversary and a more international profile \u201cWe will be aiming to set up partnerships with both the industry\u2019s main trade associations and the public authorities so we can deliver trade missions comprising high-quality visitors with substantial purchasing power from those international markets that are key to our exhibitors\u201d, notes Bermejo.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em>On this same issue, Maderalia\u2019s Organising Committee noted the need to focus on a profile of visitor that was significant at the last edition of the fair: specifiers and contract sector professionals. \u201cThese are highly qualified professionals who can give companies an entr\u00e9e into the contract sector, which opens up major business and market positioning opportunities for our exhibitors\u201d, <\/em>explains Maderalia\u2019s new president.<\/p>\n To achieve its objective, the fair will again be driving a set of initiatives designed to attract visitors who fit this profile, along similar lines to the highly successful \u2018Taylor Hotel\u2019 installation at the last edition that was created by the prestigious design consultancy headed by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Ferrero and was applauded by the industry in general.<\/p>\n \u201cFIMMA + Maderalia 2024 will be celebrating 40 editions of market leadership.
