Although the positive trend will continue into the new year, 2023 will be less bright. This is, in essence, what emerges from the surveys just conducted by the statistics group Federmacchine, the federation of capital goods manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the pre-consumptions, in 2022, the turnover of the Italian sector industry grew to <strong>54,106 million euros<\/strong>, <strong>8.1 percent<\/strong> more than in 2021. The overall result was mainly driven by the performance of deliveries on the domestic market, which grew to 19,733 million euros, 14.7 percent more than the previous year; export growth was more moderate, rising, by <strong>4.7 percent<\/strong>, to 34,373 million euros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Italian machinery consumption, also thanks to the 4.0 incentive measures, was particularly buoyant: with a growth of 17.9 percent it reached 31,688 million euros, driving not only domestic deliveries but also imports, which grew, by 23.5 percent, to 11,955 million euros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2023, the positive trend will continue, although growth will have a more restrained pace, due to the uncertainty affecting the entire international scenario<br \/>\nSpecifically, sales will grow to 55,861 million euros, 3.2 percent higher than in 2022. Of the same tenor will be the increases recorded by other economic indicators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exports are expected to grow, by 3 percent, to 35,395 million euros; domestic deliveries will rise to 20,466 million, 3.7 percent higher than the value recorded in 2022.
