During these difficult periods the “digital mode” is the only option for a large number of companies to maintain their attention on the most pressing technical issues, in full compliance with the prescriptions of the authorities to counteract the ever-dramatic health emergency that afflicts the entire planet.<\/h3>\n

It is therefore no coincidence that the majority of the training and technical refreshing events proposed by Catas Academy<\/strong> (more than 50 seminars in 2020), have been organized as “webinars”. The internet connection is, in fact, an unique opportunity that the Italian laboratory has already activated for some time, working on the quality of information, creating several meetings in English for the many partners that Catas has all over the world, building a real \u201cwebinar case<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> where those who could not participate live can always find all the contributions; while Catas subscribers will be able to access it directly from the “myCatas<\/a>” area specifically dedicated to each of them.<\/p>\n

During the last year 54 courses<\/strong> and seminars were organized for companies, operators in the wood-furniture sector, education institutes and universities; more than 5,000 online contacts<\/strong> were recorded during the live courses or as subsequent connections.<\/p>\n

An intense and rewarding year, which ended with the special event \u201cCatas Virtual tour<\/a>\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0followed live last December 10 by about 300 people from all over the world and which counts today over 1,200 views online.<\/p>\n

Also for 2021<\/strong> a first calendar of appointments has been defined which, as in previous years, will be further enriched with new events, giving a quick and coherent response to the technical-standard relevance of the world of wood-furniture. The courses, as in our tradition, are held by Catas technicians and experts, who bring \u201cin the chair\u201d all the expertise and experience built up in the various areas in which they are daily involved: laboratory testing activities, participation in the national and international standardization committees, but also listening and studying the needs and technical problems of companies. After the first event \u2013 which took place last January 19th<\/sup> in collaboration with the Italian association of adhesive producers (Avisa-Federchimica), dedicated to the presentation of the \u201cEdge banding\u201d manual<\/strong> \u2013 here we would like to present the next events. All of them are already planned in Italian language but some seminars will be also repeated in English (dates will be communicated on time).<\/p>\n
