{"id":17572,"date":"2020-11-20T08:00:06","date_gmt":"2020-11-20T07:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/2020\/11\/20\/train-the-trainer-seminar-per-la-protezione-del-lavoratore\/"},"modified":"2025-03-14T22:05:58","modified_gmt":"2025-03-14T21:05:58","slug":"train-the-trainer-seminar-per-la-protezione-del-lavoratore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/en\/2020\/11\/20\/train-the-trainer-seminar-per-la-protezione-del-lavoratore\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8221;Train-the-Trainer Seminar&#8221;: the worker protection"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Train-the-Trainer Seminar&#8221;, the online event dedicated to the worker protection held by Efbww and Epf.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (<strong>Efbww<\/strong>) and the European Wood-Based Panels Federation (<strong>Epf<\/strong>) jointly organised an online &#8220;Train-the-Trainer Seminar&#8221; on enhancing worker protection, attracting more than 200 registered participants from more than 25 countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This seminar is the first event in the EC financed project to stimulate the adoption and implementation of the Efbww\/Epf joint voluntary agreement, entitled &#8220;<strong>Action Guide on Formaldehyde<\/strong>&#8220;, at national and company level. lt follows the co-signature of this voluntary agreement on 30 November 2018 on improving workers&#8217; protection in the panel industry from potential exposure to formaldehyde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Focus was put on the objectives of the Action Guide and on the importance of prevention. Furthermore, <strong>Gundula Wagner<\/strong>, Head of Centrai Analytic department at <strong>Pfleiderer<\/strong> offered detailed explanations and training on the Action Guide in three specific sessions. AII participants welcomed and appreciated the pragmatic nature of the Action Guide as a management system, focusing primarily on prevention and on limiting potential exposure through creating awareness, motivation and responsibility of workers, supervisors and management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Danny Scheerlinck<\/strong> representing DG Employment and Social Affairs of the European Commission stateci: &#8220;<em>I am impressed by the number of participants and by the superb quality of the presentations and the organisation<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Train-the-Trainer Seminar&#8221;, the online event dedicated to the worker protection held by Efbww and Epf.
