{"id":17786,"date":"2020-06-18T11:06:35","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T09:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/2020\/06\/18\/homag-acquisisce-weinmann\/"},"modified":"2025-03-17T09:00:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-17T08:00:39","slug":"homag-acquisisce-weinmann","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/en\/2020\/06\/18\/homag-acquisisce-weinmann\/","title":{"rendered":"Homag acquired Weinmann"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Homag<\/strong> acquired the remaining 24 percent of <strong>Weinmann<\/strong>&#8216;s shares, taking over one hundred percent of the latter&#8217;s shares.<\/p>\n<p>Weinmann, founded in 1985 and part of the Homag Group since 1998, is a leader in the sector of wood construction machinery and systems and has sold over five thousand machines worldwide, with innovative solutions for carpentry and construction of prefabricated houses.<\/p>\n<p>After 28 years of traveling together, <strong>Hansber Ott<\/strong> will give up his role as CEO of Weinmann, maintaining an advisory role. \u201cWe have always pursued a specific goal: to maintain a healthy relationship between man and machine. For Weinmann&#8217;s future, it is important that this remains the basis of our philosophy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Josef Zerle<\/strong>, head of the Group&#8217;s Surface Technology Business Unit will enter the management from 1 July, as will <strong>Sven Schempp<\/strong>, who also assumes the position of spokesperson for the management. &#8220;We will remain faithful to the essence of the brand and continue to focus our attention on mutual trust between us and our customers.
