The average attendance of over 200 operators at each meeting, has persuaded the managers of the training area of \u200b\u200bthe most important European laboratory active in tests and certifications for the wood-furniture sector to further enrich the program<\/strong>. A calendar that also includes seminars in English, so as to involve companies and technicians from all over the world to continue and widen the relationship with Catas even in this complex emergency season.<\/p>\n Two new appointments<\/strong> in May that will expand the offer of “online seminars”, will consider the fire reaction of upholstered furniture and the CPL decorative laminates, a kind of material increasingly used in the sector.<\/p>\n The following is the complete webinars program:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May 05, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm During the seminar Franco Bulian will talk about what is today known of this substance, being one of the main sources of indoor pollution caused by furniture. It will also be an opportunity to summarize the state of legislation and standards in Europe and in the Usa.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May 12, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm Daniele Bergamasco will talk about the materials containing these compounds, clarifying how under which conditions Voc emissions become dangerous. The central theme of the seminar is the “indoor” air quality and the reference methods for measuring emissions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May 14, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm What is reaction to fire? The point on the legislative and regulatory context in Italy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May 19, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm The legislative tools necessary for furniture equipped with electrical movements will be analyzed in depth. The focus of the webinar will be on the main contents introduced by the new edition of the \u201cMachinery Directive Guide\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May 28, 2020 from 2 to 3 pm What are the characteristics of these materials? What are the reference requirements for their use? These questions are promptly answered by the new UNI 11771: 2020 Italian standard, the document will be presented and commented during the online seminar.<\/p>\n At the end of each meeting, the participants may ask questions and talk with the speakers, an opportunity to deepen themes of great interest in the world of furniture.
