With its 330 employees, the family-owned company from Herford considers itself well positioned for the year 2019. It has just been listed for the second time among the 460 world market leaders in Germany by the University of St. Gallen.<br \/>\n<strong>Wemh\u00f6ner (Changzhou) machinery manufacturing<\/strong> in China was equally successful last year. For the first time, sales exceeded 36 millions euro. The future prospects for the Chinese company with its 170 employees also remain positive. In the summer of 2019, the construction of another company at the Changzhou site will begin. Completion is scheduled for summer 2020. After the expansion in 2018 in Herford, China will follow with a time delay.<br \/>\nConsolidated Group sales for Wemh\u00f6ner rose to almost 140 millions euro for the first time in 2018. Due to the high order backlog at the companies, similar Group sales are also expected in 2019.
