The event is organised by Federlegno Arredo Eventi in partnership with ICE &#8211; the Italian Trade Agency.<\/p>\n<p>The past edition of the <strong>Saloni WorldWide Moscow<\/strong> notched up <strong>more than 30,000 attendees<\/strong>, and 300 participating companies \u2013 22% of which come from Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain and the US \u2013 located in more than 10,000 square metres of exhibition space \u2013 showcasing the very best from last April\u2019s Salone del Mobile.Milano \u2013 who see the event as an unmissable opportunity to gain a foothold in the Russian and post-Soviet markets, increasingly interested in high-end classic, designer and luxury pieces.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meetings between professional operators and exhibiting countries <\/strong>were both numerous and profitable, confirming the event\u2019s driving role in Russia and the former Soviet Republics. Positive signals have been relayed by the <strong>110 delegates invited by ICE from 18 cities in Russia and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan<\/strong>, who have placed a large number of orders, ensuing from the 2,500 appointments arranged over the four days of the Saloni.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Russia i<\/strong>s still <strong>the leading developing market<\/strong> <strong>for Italian furnishing<\/strong> and will retain pole position as far as imports of <strong>high end furnishing<\/strong> are concerned.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was also the 12th edition of the <strong>SaloneSatellite WorldWide Moscow<\/strong>, in which <strong>44 young<\/strong> designers from Russia and the former Soviet Republics were involved.
