Such percent variation is similar to 2015 versus 2014, when the variation was 11.7 percent; so, two years of double-digit growth.<\/span><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">The figures provided by the Italian statistics institute Istat allow to draw a final balance of <b>import<\/b> and <b>export<\/b>: in 2016, sales abroad amounted to <b>1,495 million euro<\/b>, 5.8 percent more than in 2015, when export had grown much stronger by 12.7 percent versus 2014.<\/span><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">End-of-year figures indicate that last year was largely positive, most and foremost for the <b>domestic market<\/b> which \u2013 driven by fiscal incentives and public support to the industry and, in general, to consumption \u2013 reached <b>562 million euro<\/b>, 24.8 percent more than total sales in the previous twelve months.<\/span><br \/>\n<i><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cThe market situation is much more favorable<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-US\"> \u2013 commented Dario Corbetta, Acimall director \u2013 <i>and finally, it is not supported only by our strong export propensity, but also by an expansion of <b>domestic demand<\/b> and higher propensity to invest in instrumental goods\u201d.<\/i><\/span><i> <\/i><i><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cSuch trend is confirmed by <b>import<\/b><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-US\"> \u2013 Corbetta added \u2013 <i>achieving 181 million euro, 19,4 percent more than in 2015\u201d.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">2017 FORECASTS<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">The Italian market is lively and it is expected to get an additional boost from the \u201cIndustria 4.0\u201d plan launched by the government.<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">In this respect, the Studies office of the Confindustria member association indicates specific figures for 2017: the <b>Italian market<\/b> might grow by another 20 percent, passing the 700 million euro threshold.<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">Also <b>production<\/b> is expanding, with an expected value of 2.2 billion euro (plus 10 percent compared to 2016) and 1.6 million export (plus 6 percent).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The year 2016 closed positively: the final figures processed by the Studies Office of Acimall \u2013 the Italian woodworking technology manufacturers\u2019 association \u2013 for last year are aligned with forecasts, [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":9252,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[10],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-18678","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
