Giardina Finishing<\/b>, leader in solutions for surface finishings with headquarters in Figino Serenza (Como), was awarded with the “Trophée Expobois 2014” for the technology “Gst Inerplus<\/b>“, a cycle of Uv application and drying that allows to obtain excellent quality surfaces, especially “High Gloss<\/b>” finishing on “traditional” materials coated with melamine or natural essences.
\nThis technology, realized from a patent of the giant company Akzo Nobel<\/b>, allows the application of a base, then drying it in the absence of atmosphere thanks to a special plastic film that compresses the material on the surface of the panel. This procedure enables the Uv lamps to act more quickly and more effectively, therefore a cycle which allows to significantly improve the quality of the surface in a small space, with a lower energy consumption and shorter drying times.
\nThe awards were presented during the last edition of Expobois, held in Paris from November 17 to 20, 2014. A panel of journalists and industry experts chose the products and the most innovative solutions among those nominated by the exhibitors.
\nJoining Giardina Finishing on the podium another Italian company, Biesse, for the technology “Air Force System”; the laser edgebanding machine “Lumina”  by Holz-Her, the innovations in the profiling field signed Michael Weinig, the Lamello assembly system “Clamex P-14”, the lubricant for chain saws “Ucolub” by Lorrainergies.
\nA “parterre de rois” that puts even more emphasis on the prestigious success of the Brianza-based company.
\n“A recognition that make us extremely pleased<\/i>,” said Giampiero Mauri<\/b>, president of Giardina Finishing. “We have always worked to give the finishing industry intelligent, economic and practical solutions, able to put the right emphasis  on quality and skills of those who produce furniture, doors, wooden elements or furnishings … The application of this patent by Akzo Nobel, as well as the partnerships that have enabled us to achieve this result, are for us the culmination of a strong and continued commitment over time<\/i>“.
