That year at the Hannover Fair were presented &ldquo;SP&rdquo;, the first planetary gear unit of accuracy And it is the success of this line in 1984 that led to the birth of a company for its marketing: <b>alpha getriebebau GmbH<\/b> and in 2008 changed its name in Wittenstein alpha. The nineties saw the birth of the products &#8220;TP&#8221; and &#8220;LP&#8221; which, together with the &#8220;SP&#8221;, are still one of the flagships of the company. In 2004 there was their first &#8220;makeover&#8221; which improved performance and design. Shortly after the hypoid reducerss have been designed and some lines devoted to markets requiring lower precision standards. The year 2011 marked the revolution in linear systems with an increase in performance by up to 150 percent compared to the industry average.
