We talk more and more about “digital”, innovation, advanced technologies. Strong words, which too often become little more than a slogan. Not the third edition of “Summit<\/b>“, an event dedicated to the deepening and spread of what are the advantages of the application of digital technologies in the way of innovation of products, processes and business models. With a very concrete goal: to increase the competitiveness of the “made in Italy”.
\nA conference organized by Aib (Industrial Association of Brescia) and the prestigious Csmt of Brescia (the Service Center multisectoral and technology that deals with applied research and technology transfer) seeing entrepreneurs, professionals, managers of manufacturing experts meet academics and productive to talk about reality “increased” and virtual, mechatronics, mobile business, social networking, cloud computing, business intelligence & analytics, process virtualization, additive manufacturing, human-machine interfaces, robotics …
\nPrivileged instrument the industrial-case presentations of particular interest, concrete demonstration of how to create “A new industrial revolution<\/b>” (the title of the 2012 edition of the “Summit”) by applying digital technologies to the methods of production.
\nScm Group<\/b> will be among the protagonists of the conference, to be held November 21, 2012 <\/b>at Musil- Museum of Industry and work in Rodengo Saiano (Brescia).
\nFederico Ratti, technical director of the group, will bring its experience in Product Lifecycle Management, “… a system that provides a strategic approach to the creation and management of intellectual capital, and the usability of the technical information in all business functions, spreading the knowledge in a structured way; uniformity in product development processes”.
\nIn a nutshell, a software to manage the knowledge and to ensure that by this heritage organized and organic can be obtained the best possible results – in the case of Scm Group technologies for the processing of wood and its derivatives − in terms of quality, reliability , economy, competitiveness of the final product. Fundamental tools when it comes to making knowledge “available” and effectively in an organized group in 18 production sites and over 500 engineers in research and development, 380 registered patents, 7 percent of sales invested each year in innovation, technology and know-how.
