The new site contains many layers of technically specific information and a plethora of case studies on twenty commercial Us hardwood species. This is a feat in itself but what is even more remarkable is that the core of the site is now available in ten languages. Publications can still be ordered for free, but there are now also options to view them as Pdfs or instantly download them to Pc.<br \/>\nNew features include an extensive photo library, videos of Ahec&rsquo;s most creative activities, a newsletter and the blog to comment on a wide range of issues including Fsc certification, the importance of Lca&rsquo;s and even how to tell the difference between red and white oak.<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>www.americanhardwood.org has been live since last October and already visitor numbers have increased dramatically.
