The majority of the greek manufacturers and importers of woodworking machines have recently announced the creation of the Hellenic Association of manufacturers and importers of wood processing machinery and tools<\/b>. The association’s temporary name is Kemexyl <\/b>and the first meeting which is expected to vote on the statute and its officers is planned for next February.
\nThe first decision of the association members is not to participate in any Greek fair in 2010. Not only; they are also asking for understanding from the organizers of the Athens fairs Interwood 2010 – scheduled from 18-21 March – and Medwood 2010 – scheduled from 22-25 April – for non-participation in the forthcoming exhibition. They also request the return of advance payments to some members.
