At the end of June, in Thiene (Vicenza), the Dmc HiTech <\/b>technology laboratory was inaugurated. It is an important facility dedicated to sanding and created to improve the knowledge of abrasives and processed materials. Such knowledge allows to select the most suitable abrasive for each process and to find out the parameters which ensure the best finishing and durability.
\nIn order to reach these results, the laboratory is provided with a set of sophisticated equipment allowing to control also the finishing quality.
\nThe new Dmc laboratory supports applied research leveraging the cooperation with the engineering department of the University of Padova, but it is also open to customers who want to test their materials. Usually, customer evaluations are empirical, while, thanks to the structures of the laboratory, today it is possible to obtain a scientific evaluation. The Dmc center aims at becoming the reference point for the industry and an ace in the hole of the Scm Group <\/b>which – with this initiative – confirms its commitment to invest in research activities to develop new products and solutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
