The event was organized by the magazines Tetto e Pareti and Mondolegno and it was sponsored by <b>pro domo legno <\/b>(<i><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.prodomolegno.it\">www.prodomolegno.it<\/a><\/i>). The initiative was presented by the Association of German wooden house manufacturers (Bdf &#8211; Bundesverband Deutscher Fertigbau) and by some other German organizations specializing in this kind of construction. <br \/>\nThe speakers of the University of Chieti-Pescara and, in particular, professors <b>Claudio Varagnoli <\/b>and <b>Fabio Armillotta <\/b>analyzed the most renowned renovation projects in Italy and abroad giving wood a key role. <b>Giovanni Cenci<\/b>, <b>Franco Laner<\/b>, <b>Attilio Marchetti <\/b>and <b>Paolo Lavisci <\/b>took part in the meeting and analyzed the topic of new frontiers of wooden constructions and renovations in seismic areas.<br \/>\nToday, indeed, you can build customized wooden houses with project engineering proposed by architects and defined according to customers&rsquo; requirements. All the companies of pro domo legno, for example, can provide completely customized solutions that have nothing to do with the old temporary and prefab houses.
