Danzer Group<\/b> (www.danzergroup.com<\/a>), the global manufacturer of hardwood veneers, took over Reholz GmbH<\/b> based in Kasselsdorf\/Dresden (Germany). The company has been integrated in the Danzer Group, under the same management team. Reholz has designed a patented <\/b>and innovative solution so that veneers can be shaped in three dimensions without being torn. Thanks to 3D veneers stable, resistant and robust shapes can be created to be used for example for the furniture and automotive industries. The wood structure and the veneer shape are unaltered. 3D veneers can be also used in the industry of 3D surface coatings<\/b>, such as plastic and metal coatings. With the acquisition of Reholz GmbH, Danzer can provide its customers with 3D Danzer veneers for forming pieces and coatings. At the same time, the company has expanded its range of products in the industry of innovative wood surfaces. Thanks to the acquisition, customers will also benefit from the combination of experience and know-how of both companies within R&D plans as well as development of veneered surface models. With Danzer as quality partner for the development, customers will be able to produce quicker in the future. Recently, Danzer has successfully cooperated with Reholz being its partner during the Vinterio <\/b>wood surface introduction. Besides, the demand of 3D veneers has been constantly increasing worldwide. 3D veneers are particularly used within the furniture industry for the production of chairs and rounded front parts of furniture as well as car interiors for the automotive industry.
