Also new for next year&rsquo;s calendar is Eumabois&rsquo; sponsorship of <strong>Formobile<\/strong> in S&atilde;o Paulo, Brazil, which is held in even years and testifies to the vitality of the Brazilian woodworking sector.<\/div>\n<div>For the second consecutive year we will be sponsoring the <strong>Dubai Woodshow<\/strong>, which looks set to be another great success in 2008, thanks to the relentless building of homes, hotels and resorts currently sweeping the Emirate.<\/div>\n<div>The calendar continues with <strong>Indiawood<\/strong> in Bangalore, a show organised directly by the Federation and whose exhibitors and visitors multiply with each edition. In 2008, the exhibition will be held in the new Bangalore Exhibition Centre, over an area of 20,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/div>\n<div>In China, all eyes will be on the historic <strong>Wmf <\/strong>exhibition organised by Adsale, which will be held, as usual, in a Beijing overrun with work in view of the Olympic Games, and unrecognisable to regular visitors. This showcase will compare western production and recent Chinese production, with hundreds of manufacturers participating.<\/div>\n<div>Asia will also host the three-yearly <strong>Aseanwood Woodtech<\/strong> in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, and this year seems set to make the most of the country&rsquo;s economic recovery.<\/div>\n<div>Here at home, Xylexpo consolidates its position but changes its name to &ldquo;<strong>Xylexpo New<\/strong>&rdquo; to reflect the fact that the event has been expanded to take in new commodity sectors: in addition to machinery and technologies, this edition will also be open to component and semi-finished goods manufacturers who previously exhibited at Sasmil, which has been moved to another date.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;Then we come to the traditional Paris-based <strong>Expobois<\/strong>, which has relived its former success in recent editions; Poznan&rsquo;s <strong>Drema<\/strong> in the refurbished exhibition centre of this handsome Polish city; and Moscow&rsquo;s famous <strong>Lesdrevmash<\/strong> fair, organised by Expocentr, which will also be open to the initial timber processing and forestation sectors.<\/div>\n<div>In Ukraine the two-yearly exhibition &ldquo;<strong>Woodprocessing&rdquo;<\/strong> to be held in Kiev is sure to be of great interest to the country; in Nitra, in Slovakia, <strong>Lignumexpo<\/strong> will be staged together with another fair Forest at the fairground of Agrokomplex and Birmingham&rsquo;s <strong>W8<\/strong>, with a new name for an exhibition with a long history.<\/div>\n<div>Portugal&rsquo;s <strong>Fimap<\/strong> and Woordworking in Lahti, Finland will bring the 2008 calendar to a close.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The network of Eumabois-sponsored trade fairs for 2008 includes some new events that complement and enhance the calendar carefully followed, or considered as a base, by most European exhibitors [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[10],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-22679","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>The 2008 Eumabois calendar&nbsp; features new exhibitions!
