This is the feeling that captures the mood of the sixteenth edition of <strong data-start=\"115\" data-end=\"124\">Sicam<\/strong>, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-Finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, which concluded just a few hours ago after four intense days. It was a great opportunity to experience firsthand the state of the art across the entire supply chain, a sort of \u201chappy island\u201d filled with positivity, optimism and a genuine desire to create and collaborate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"1091\">According to the very first data, from 14 to 17 October the fair welcomed <strong data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"607\">23,818 visitors<\/strong>, representing over <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"646\">9,300 companies<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"669\">113 countries<\/strong>. Italy naturally led the way (<strong data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"715\">61 per cent<\/strong>), followed by a strong contingent from <strong data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"783\">Germany, Spain and China<\/strong>, as well as many participants from <strong data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"849\">Eastern European countries<\/strong>. They were greeted by <strong data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"890\">692 exhibitors<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"910\">33 nations<\/strong>, occupying <strong data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"946\">19,150 square metres<\/strong> of net exhibition space, essentially the entire available area of the fairgrounds, and representing small, medium and large enterprises alike.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1550\">The four days confirmed the fair\u2019s maturity, as shown by the consistent growth in both exhibitor and visitor figures. \u201cFor several editions now, Sicam has been an unmissable event for everyone in the supply chain,\u201d commented <strong data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1337\">Carolina Giobbi<\/strong>. \u201cAll professionals in the sector come to Sicam, and that is undoubtedly a source of pride for us organisers, although the real credit goes to the strong appeal of all those who choose to exhibit in Pordenone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"2198\">This edition managed to strike a perfect balance between time spent at the fair \u2014 four days in which visitors and exhibitors were deeply focused on business \u2014 and an increasingly vibrant <em data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1753\">fuori salone<\/em> scene full of events and initiatives organised by companies as part of <strong data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"1855\">Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM<\/strong>, a project promoted by the City of Pordenone. \u201cThe right balance between time at the fair and everything that happens afterwards is certainly one of the key ingredients of Sicam\u2019s success: ideas, inspiration, new visions and future opportunities often arise from informal encounters, conviviality and the simple pleasure of being together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2653\">A final mention goes to what is becoming a well-loved tradition and something Sicam strongly believes in: this morning, on the last day of the fair, a large group of students from local schools and training institutes accepted the invitation from the <strong data-start=\"2451\" data-end=\"2476\">Friuli Venezia Giulia<\/strong> delegation of <strong data-start=\"2491\" data-end=\"2540\">ADI \u2013 Associazione per il Disegno Industriale<\/strong> to engage in a dialogue about the opportunity of connecting their future to design and the furniture industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2655\" data-end=\"2740\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The next edition, the <strong data-start=\"2677\" data-end=\"2691\">17th Sicam<\/strong>, will take place from <strong data-start=\"2714\" data-end=\"2739\">20 to 23 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"z-0 flex min-h-[46px] justify-start\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 w-full empty:hidden\">\n<div class=\"text-center\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<div class=\"pointer-events-none h-px w-px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-edge=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creativity, beauty and functionality.
