The new Ima E-Commerce<\/strong> division, created within the Ima Group<\/strong> and dedicated to automated packaging solutions for online retail, has entered into a partnership with Interroll<\/strong>, a company specialized in intralogistics handling technologies. The agreement provides for the integration of Interroll systems<\/strong> into the automatic solutions of Ima E-Commerce<\/strong>, with the goal of increasing efficiency and precision in packaging processes.<\/p>\n

The partnership comes at a time of steady growth for the e-commerce<\/strong> market, which reached 6.09 trillion dollars globally in 2024<\/strong> (plus 8.4 percent year on year). In Italy, online sales hit 58.8 billion euros<\/strong>, with projections to exceed 62 billion in 2025<\/strong>, according to Netcomm<\/strong> data.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe chose Interroll<\/strong> for its handling technologies, capable of supporting the growing demand for automation and the specific needs of online retail<\/em>,\u201d said Simone Capponcelli<\/strong>, sales manager&division coordinator of the division.<\/p>\n

Ima E-Commerce<\/strong> designs and manufactures automated packaging and logistics solutions for the e-commerce<\/strong>, e-fulfillment<\/strong>, 3PL<\/strong> and intralogistics<\/strong> sectors. Its technologies include forming and closing machines and integrated packaging systems designed to improve efficiency, sustainability and waste reduction.<\/p>\n

For its part, Interroll<\/strong> contributes its expertise in the OEM<\/strong> sector and its advanced technologies for material transport and handling. \u201cOur intralogistics solutions fit perfectly with the needs of a group like Ima<\/strong><\/em>,\u201d explained Maurizio Catino<\/strong>, chief sales officer of Interroll<\/strong>. \u201cThe collaboration with Ima E-Commerce<\/strong> allows us to help develop increasingly efficient and flexible automated packaging systems<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julia Bonamici<\/strong>, area sales manager solution at Interroll Italia<\/strong>, also highlighted the importance of the project: \u201cE-commerce continues to grow at double-digit rates worldwide. This partnership provides a strong foundation for developing new technological solutions based on a shared industrial vision and a forward-looking concept of business quality<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
