The year 2025 closed on a positive note for <i><\/i><strong>Lago<i>, <\/i><\/strong>, one of the leading players in the design and furniture sector. A year marked by <strong>new openings<\/strong>, the <strong>strengthening of international presence<\/strong>, and a strategy focused on <strong>selective and sustainable growth<\/strong>. <em>&#8220;2025 was a year of intense work on the <\/em><strong><em>strategic and organizational front<\/em><\/strong><em>. We chose to grow selectively, focusing on <\/em><strong><em>key markets<\/em><\/strong><em> and on a model capable of generating long-term value. The results in the contract segment, together with the strength of the pipeline and the development of Americas Corp and Lago Project, <\/em><em>as well as the strengthening of our presence in the APAC area \u2014 with dedicated resources also in the Chinese market \u2014 confirm that the direction we have taken is the right one,&#8221;<\/em> emphasized <strong>Gilberto Negrini<\/strong>, CEO of Lago.<\/p>\n<p>During 2025, Lago completed <strong>23 total openings<\/strong>, including stores, points, and special projects. In <strong>I<\/strong>taly, 8 new locations were inaugurated, including the Milan Durini Flagship Store, in the heart of the city\u2019s Design District.<br \/>\nAbroad, the brand opened 15 new spaces, strengthening its presence in strategic markets such as Bulgaria, Montenegro, Panama, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland. This expansion took shape through different formats \u2014 stores, capsules, and projects \u2014 capable of interpreting the brand\u2019s DNA in diverse cultural and commercial contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention was devoted, as explained by Negrini, to international development through <strong>Lago Americas Corp<\/strong>, the business unit dedicated to growth in the North and South American markets, and <strong>Lago Project<\/strong>, the tailor-made service for large contract and corporate projects, which makes it possible to bring the excellence of Lago design into customized contexts, spanning residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. These initiatives demonstrate the brand\u2019s ability to adapt its language to complex, innovative, and globally scalable projects.<\/p>\n<p>From an economic standpoint, the <strong>contract segment recorded growth of approximately 20 percent compared to 2024<\/strong>, confirming the strength of demand and the effectiveness of the commercial strategy adopted. A result that highlights Lago\u2019s ability to move with coherence and vision within a complex macroeconomic scenario, strengthening a resilient business model oriented toward the long term.<\/p>\n<p>The focus is now on the future. <strong>2026<\/strong> is shaping up to be a year of strong acceleration, with a pipeline of around thirty new <strong>openings<\/strong>, confirming an increasingly central and structured internationalization strategy. At the same time, the contract segment is looking toward a perspective of <strong>double-digit growth<\/strong>, further strengthening LAGO\u2019s positioning in highly complex, large-scale international projects.<\/p>\n<p>Growth that is not measured solely in numbers, but above all in the ability to generate culture, vision, and relationships through design.
