{"id":29114,"date":"2026-09-09T10:18:57","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T08:18:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/2026\/09\/09\/federlegnoarredo-elia-vismara-designato-alla-presidenza-per-il-2026-2030\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T10:20:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T08:20:15","slug":"federlegnoarredo-elia-vismara-designato-alla-presidenza-per-il-2026-2030","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xylon.it\/en\/2026\/09\/09\/federlegnoarredo-elia-vismara-designato-alla-presidenza-per-il-2026-2030\/","title":{"rendered":"Elia Vismara designated candidate for FederlegnoArredo Presidency"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"MuiGrid-root MuiGrid-container MuiGrid-spacing-xs-4 css-1tz8m30\">\n<div class=\"MuiGrid-root MuiGrid-item MuiGrid-grid-md-2 css-132oeye\">The General Council of <strong>FederlegnoArredo,<\/strong> meeting in Milan, has designated <strong>Elia Vismara<\/strong> \u2013 born in 1971, a management engineer from Mariano Comense (Como), a member of the Board of Directors of Vismaravetro since 1999, Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2025 and current President of FederlegnoArredo&#8217;s Assobagno association \u2013 as its candidate for the Presidency of the Federation for the next four-year term, taking over from Claudio Feltrin, who has led the organisation for the past six years.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MuiGrid-root MuiGrid-item MuiGrid-grid-xs-12 MuiGrid-grid-md-6 css-iol86l\">\n<div class=\"css-1hegb6k\">\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">The designation is the outcome of a consultation process involving the Federation&#8217;s member companies, carried out across the country in June and July by the Nomination Committee, which was entrusted with overseeing the process leading to the election of the new President.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">The Federation therefore extends its thanks to the members of the committee, Nicoletta Azzi, Massimiliano Messina and Alberto Scavolini, for making themselves available and carrying out such a delicate task with commitment and a strong sense of service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">The final stage of the election process will now begin: at a subsequent General Council meeting, scheduled to take place by the end of September, the President-designate will present his <strong>programme for the term of office<\/strong> and the <strong>Presidential team<\/strong> that will work alongside him over the next four years. The <strong>FederlegnoArredo General Assembly,<\/strong> which is due to be convened in Milan on 27 October, will then elect the new President.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">&#8220;<em>I accept the confidence that the members have placed in me with a profound sense of responsibility, and I would like to express my most sincere thanks to all of them<\/em>&#8220;, Vismara commented. &#8220;<em>Should the October Assembly confirm me as head of the Federation, I would take on this role with a spirit of service and with the commitment to make available to the entire association system the experience and expertise I have gained over the years within FederlegnoArredo. I am currently working on defining the team with which to translate into concrete actions the policy guidelines and priorities I intend to propose for the future of the Federation, with the aim of enhancing all the different components of such a broad and complex supply chain<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">\n<h4 class=\"text-align-justify\">Who is Elia Vismara<\/h4>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">Elia Vismaa, born in 1971, is a management engineer from Mariano Comense (Como). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Vismaravetro since 1999 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2025. An entrepreneur from one of the historic families of the Italian furniture industry, he has developed his professional career in the furniture and design sector, building up extensive experience within the FederlegnoArredo association system: from 2015 to 2017 he was a member of the Federation&#8217;s Executive Committee; since 2017 he has been a member of Assobagno&#8217;s Presidential Council and in 2020 he was elected President of Assobagno, the FederlegnoArredo association representing companies in the bathroom furnishings sector.
