Altendorf has officially inaugurated the new production setup at its Minden<\/strong> site, completing the transfer of edgebanding machine production from H\u00fcllhorst. The move brings the manufacture of the group\u2019s sliding table saws and edgebanding machines together at a single German location.<\/p>\n The project, which involved an investment of several million euros, represents the final stage of the reorganisation process launched at the beginning of 2026. Since January, the entire machine portfolio has been marketed under the Altendorf<\/strong> brand, while from 1 August the activities were also consolidated legally and operationally under Altendorf GmbH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Under the new setup, functions including procurement, development, product management, production and administration are also concentrated in Minden. According to the company, this closer integration should help standardise processes, increase the use of common components and reduce throughput times and production downtime. Minden therefore becomes Altendorf\u2019s only production site in Germany, alongside the company\u2019s plant in China, which is closely integrated with its European operations.<\/p>\n For customers and dealers, the reorganisation also means a single point of contact for the entire portfolio, from sliding table saws to edgebanding machines, with a more integrated management of enquiries, quotations and spare parts.<\/p>\n The opening coincides with Altendorf\u2019s 120th anniversary<\/strong>, celebrated in 2026 under the motto \u201cFrom Pioneer to The Craftsman\u2019s Best Friend\u201d. \u201cThere is no future without origins.
