| A FIVE-YEAR PERIOD OF GROWTH
| A five-year period of growth: this, in sort, defines the performance of the Cefla Group, which closed 2017 with a value of production some 20 percent higher than that of the previous year. The turnover - some 528 million euro - incorporated a strengthened contribution from foreign subsidiaries (in both sales and manufacturing) on strategic markets such as the USA, China and Russia, with exports accounting for 54 percent of sales. The economic performance of 2017 is matched by an equally positive financial position. | In the past few days the first “Italian furniture origin” certification has been officially granted according to the new product certification joint scheme of Catas and Cosmob. To receive it the company Fantoni (Osoppo, Udine), has completed all the inspection and verification steps for its collection of office desks “Woods”, checking both the production process and the final product itself. | TECHNOLOGY STILL DRIVEN BY EXPORT | The figures of the first quarter 2018 are clear: it will be a positive year for technologies dedicated to the furniture industry and to wood and wood-based materials. Such trend is confirmed by the quarterly survey of Acimall, the Confindustria-member industry association, that depicts a first quarter in line with the excellent results of 2017; last year, as known, closed with a production value growth by 10.5 percent compared to the previous year, achieving a historical record of 2.27 billion euro. Now, the January-March period feeds optimism, recording 19.2 percent growth compared to the first three months of 2017. | DASSAULT GROWS IN THE 1Q 2018
| Dassault Systèmes announced the results of the first quarter of 2018 closed last March 31, in line with the objectives set by the company. Total revenues increased 10 percent, also taking into account the acquisition of Exa Corporation finalized on 17 November 2017. The increase in revenues from the sale of software at constant currency is 14 percent, with double-digit results for the brands Catia, Solidworks, Enovia, Simulia, Delmia and Geovia.
