| THE FURNITURE COMPONENTS INDUSTRY AT PORDENONE
| The 11th edition of Sicam the International exhibition of components, accessories, and semi-finished products for the furniture industry, ended on 18 October last, significantly strengthening the numbers and value reached. The sector’s most qualified professionals from all over the world have been here in Pordenone over the past four days. Once more for this edition, over 8,000 enterprises visited the trade fair to create business for the over 600 companies exhibiting their technology and design products at the highest global level throughout the ten halls. The international rate of the event was extremely high yet again. 27 percent of companies exhibiting at the trade fair came from 32 foreign countries, while 69 percent of visitors were Italian and 31 percent arrived from abroad from 109 countries...(read more) |

MERGERS | IMA SCHELLING GROUP IS OFFICIAL
| Ima and Schelling now merges to form the Ima Schelling Group and the two enterprises now functions under the same business name. Ima Klessmann GmbH Holzbearbeitungssysteme has now changed its name to Ima Schelling Deutschland GmbH. By this measure, the company establishes a uniform business name together with its long-year Austrian cooperation partner Schelling Anlagenbau GmbH that will operate under the name Ima Schelling Austria GmbH. | THIRD ORDER FOR DONGWA, VIETNAM
| Already in 2010 and 2015, the company Vrg Dongwha, a joint venture of Dongwha International and the Vietnam Rubber Group, ordered two Mdf plants from Siempelkamp.
