Fmc/Zow: post show report

A total of 65,232 trade visitors took the opportunity to visit Furniture China and Furniture manufacturing & supply China 2007 – from 12 to 15 september in Shanghai – of which 15,250 were foreign visitors from 144 countries and regions. Fmc attracted 25,838 domestic visitors from 33 provinces across China including Hong Kong and Taiwan regions and 2,945 overseas visitors.

12,650 handpicked visitors from decision-maker levels attended Zow China 2007 in Shanghai.

Total exhibition area of all shows together was 220,000 sqm, of which woodworking machinery and furniture raw materials part covered 28,000 sqm, whilst Zow occupied 5,774 sqm.

580 woodworking manufacturers and furniture raw materials suppliers exhibited at Fmc/Zow, including most of the prominent manufacturers (Scm, Biesse Anderson, Shoda, Leuco, Weinig, Homag etc). There was also a group of 30 companies from Taiwan woodworking machinery association (Twma). 150 well-known international companies took par in Zow area, such as Hettich, Jowat, Henkel, Tabu, Formica etc. The state of North Carolina continued his group participation in Zow with seven hardwood companies. The total number of exhibitors in Furniture China was 1,680.
