Robatech extends the range  of extrusion systems

The new melter model “Robamelt Rmc 200 C” by the Swiss company Robatech (www.robatech.ch With the new design of the finned melting plate and the Robatech technology, the drumunloader “Rmc 200 C” allows to save glue and cut costs.) is the ideal system to melt thermoplastic hotmelts and sealing compounds and to pump these materials from the 200-liter drums in which they are supplied.

The use of 200-liter drums for the production process offers great benefits in all industrial applications where high quantities of hotmelts, PUR adhesives or sealants must be melted.

For optimal viscosity and, therefore, clean application and long-lasting bond, the adhesive or sealing compound must be melted in a controlled way.

The system can be customized for specific needs. With the new technology, the pumped adhesive or sealant preserve their properties and quality. In addition, the melting unit is very versatile, as it can be used as “premelter” to feed spreading nozzles or roller application systems. The new Robatech extruder, complete with suitable software and hardware, can be interfaced to automated systems for large series production. With this special system, two, three or four adhesive drums can be taken to melting temperature and prepared for the gluing process.
