Heating with wood briquettes

A solution for heating is represented by wood briquettes. The briquette is a bio-fuel obtained by “compacting” different materials.
The Haas Group (www.haas-fertigbau.de) makes briquettes from beech and oak wood at the Durdevac factory in Croatia (see picture).
This product has several benefits, including high energy density. It burns slower than wood and has a very regular and smooth structure. Besides reducing storage volumes, it also streamlines transport, offering lower costs and enhance emission control
The destination of briquettes is the ceramic stove, very resistant as well as elegant and ideal for any environment.

The briquettes by Haas measure 155x75x100 millimeters, with 0.900 kg weight, 4,210 kcal/kg calorific power, 10% water content, 1.28 kg/dm3 density and 0.35% residual ash.
