New European database on-line now

From 1st February 2008, the new European database has been on-line for companies operating in the industrial packaging industry: www.europeanindustrialpackaging.com.
It was created by Fepfeb, the European federation of wooden packagings and pallets, aiming at creating a network of companies so that operators can exchange information.
Nine associations from nine different countries belong to the network. Besides, in the European database there are already more than 130 French companies, 58 from Belgium, 12 from the UK and more than 10 from Italy.
For the new project a general document has been drafted and approved at European level. The title is: “Essential minimum requirements for industrial packaging”, to be downloaded from Assoimballaggi website (www.assoimballaggi.it) under “Gruppi/Imballaggi industriali”.
In the website, those companies wanting to join the database have to download the forms 1 and 2 from the section “Vita associativa/”Circolari” and send them per email to assoimballaggi@federlegno.it .
