New website for Co-Env consortium

Since March, the new Co-Env (Collaborative Environment) consortium has been online – www.coenv.it – It will allow all companies of the consortium (5 big companies and 16 SMBs) to collaborate actively to new joint research projects.
The 21 partners belong to different production industries based in the region of Marche, headed by Biesse, Indesit and Teuco Guzzini.
With the new website, Co-Env aims at meeting the companies’ growing need of pursuing product innovation through a mutual exchange of resources and skills through the creation of technological IT platforms for data exchange.
Collaborative design is a recursive and structured process in which a team of people from the industrial or academic world, works in synergy sharing know-how, technologies and purposes: the first goal is to achieve product innovation through the innovation of a company’s own development process.
The consortium has applied for a bid concerning financing programs for the innovation of strategic business processes and closer aggregation in districts and supply chains (law of 17th February 1982 No. 46, Italian Ministry of Economic Development), with a project whose aim is developing innovative environments and tools for collaborative design and agile product development.
A hotbed of innovation for the Marche region, Co-Env supports the diffusion of technology and innovation both within the “distributed enterprise” made up of the consortium partners – and externally through seminars and workshops.
The Technical University of Marche, Co-Env scientific partner and excellence center for all industrial research activities, acts as a link among the consortium members, enhancing the transfer of know-how and university skills to the business world.
