A new building for Mattarei Group

Mattarei Group (www.mattarei.it) – an Italian company based in Montorio (Verona) specializing in the production of buildings and roofs in timber frame – built the Experimental center in Farra d’Alpago, near Belluno, with an area of 260 square metres.
Commissioned by the fisherman association of Alpago and by the town and financed by Regione Veneto and Provincia, the work is part of a rehabilitation initiative for that zone.
Mattarei Group realized the new building beside of a small edifice used in the past as a boats depot and now changed into a workshop.
The building, made in wood and cement, has a vertical sequencing of structural frames and large windows that face directly on the water.
