The 64th Congress of the European Federation of Manufacturers of pallets and wooden packaging (Fefpeb), organized this year on the occasion of ‘”Interpal VIII”, update the hundreds of participants representing companies from around the world on the most important issues regarding the international industry of wooden pallets and packaging.
This year’s event, titled “Create global objectives onthe palletandwoodpackaging industry“, will be held October 16 to 18in Bordeaux, France, and will feature presentations and discussions of a wide range of topics including developments on standard Ispm 15, Eutr regulations introduced recently, trends in the global wood and the activities of Cei-Bois, the organization heading all European wood manufacturing industries.
It is also planned an overview of the progress of “Packaging by nature,” the Fefpeb campaign to promote the benefits of using wood, currently operational in seven languages covering most of the 14 countries members of the organization.
The three-day program includes visits of representatives of the major French plants for the production of sawn timber and pallet of Beynel/Pgs group, a research center for forestry products (Fcba), Nudet Vivarium and the producer of cardboard Smurfit Kappa; a gala dinner and a special French themed evening in viticulture will take place on the evening of October 18.
It is expected the participation of delegates from all European countries belonging to Fefpeb, the event will also host representatives of wooden packaging and pallets industry from other parts of the world, including the United States and Canada, South Africa, South America, Oceania and Asia Pacific.
