Even in times of limitations due to the emergency, innovation and training cannot and must not be stopped, because sooner or later it will be necessary to restart at full capacity. And when this restart occurs, the basis will be created by skills. With this goal and eyes on the future, Ucimu Academy was born, the organization created under the impetus of the Ucimu Foundation to encourage and support the training of people who will work in the machine tool manufacturing industry.

Looking to the future starting from the preparation of the personnel employed in companies, the key factor of competitiveness, especially in a sector with a high technical-technological content such as that of production systems. A necessity dictated by a difficulty. Even today, in fact, there are many Italian companies in the machine tool sector that encounter great difficulties in finding personnel trained to operate on the latest generation technologies. And, precisely with this in mind, Ucimu Academy – strongly supported by the new president of the foundation Barbara Colombo – aims to reduce this problem and help companies find more trained staff.

The first step will be managed by the Foundation’s Business Studies and Culture Center, in collaboration with Energheia, a company that has been operating for years in the field of youth training.
