Biesse, a well-established name in the sector, has also confirmed its participation in Xylexpo/Composites Future 2026, joining companies such as Felder and SCM, which had already reiterated their commitment some time ago.
“The presence of major groups confirms the role that Xylexpo continues to play in Italy, one of the leading international markets for wood-processing technologies and the furniture industry,” commented Dario Corbetta, Director of the exhibition. “These are important participations, which undoubtedly add value to the decision of many small and medium-sized enterprises to exhibit at Xylexpo, with registrations arriving in recent weeks from Italy and abroad.”
The international biennial event dedicated to technologies for the wood and furniture sector, scheduled to take place alongside Plast, the exhibition of machinery and equipment for the plastics and rubber industries, from 9 to 12 June 2026, will, for the first time, also involve the world of composite materials, an area in which woodworking machinery has long played a role.
“The decision, shared with Plast, to launch Composites Future has undoubtedly increased the appeal of our exhibition,” Corbetta added. “It has engaged not only many of the leading names in this specific sector, but has also acted as a catalyst for those companies and groups closer to us that have made multi-materiality a strategic choice.”
