Biesse acquires Orchestra Srl
Biesse has announced the acquisition of Orchestra Srl, an Italian software company specialising in the development of solutions for the digitalisation of production processes. Orchestra develops platforms and applications for the interconnection of industrial machinery, real-time production monitoring and the optimisation of operational workflows in manufacturing companies.
“The acquisition is fully consistent with the company’s strategic vision, which is focused on optimising customers’ industrial processes, increasing the value of machines and simplifying production cycles.
The high level of automation enables native connectivity with machines, including those from different manufacturers, allowing data to be collected and centralised in a single environment and used to support customer performance,” the company explained in the press release announcing the acquisition. “The new solutions make it possible to implement advanced Manufacturing Execution System (MES) logic, capable of automatically optimising production according to orders, improving machine efficiency and reducing operating times and costs.”
The result is a complete digital ecosystem extending from machine connectivity and data collection to production management and control, while integrating advanced scheduling and dynamic optimisation functions. “This creates a system capable of coordinating machines, processes and resources even in multi-brand environments, transforming the factory into a single, fully integrated digital environment.”
