Dieffenbacher acquires Pagnoni Impianti

Dieffenbacher, the well-known German brand, has announced the acquisition of Pagnoni Impianti, the Milan-based company specializing in the production of presses for chipboard, plywood, mdf and decorative laminates, which will be renamed Pagnoni Dieffenbacher.

With the acquisition of the company, Dieffenbacher will initially focus on existing Pagnoni customers. “The personal support provided by family Pagnoni contacts will continue. The Pagnoni team will also be supported by Dieffenbacher’s entire global service network, which will be available as a point of contact, “ explained Ralf Schmidt, head of Dieffenbacher’s Global Lifetime Service Wood & Recycling.

In the medium to long term, Dieffenbacher will add Pagnoni products to its portfolio. “In particular, short-cycle, hpl and plywood plants will be a useful addition to our range of services. We will also integrate know-how related to single and multiple opening plants for the production of wood-based panels into our product range,” concluded Stefan Zipf, head of Dieffenbacher’s Wood Business Unit.
