The door frame line by Comec Group

05/05/2023

“Md Jamb Door Frame Line” is a fully automated line for door production made by Comec Group, a company based in San Giovanni al Natisone specializing in the construction of woodworking machines. “It’s an ideal solution for cutting, milling and drilling operations, equipped with automatic workpiece loading and sorting systems for three dedicated machines, and unloading/collecting”, company officials said.

This high efficiency and flexibility line is composed by three Md Jamb machines with multi-spindle operating heads connected to each other by a fully automatic transport system.
The line finds its optimal use in door jambs processing. Its design innovation and latest software technologies allow to reach a final productivity of three complete door jambs (nine parts) in one minute.
Thanks to the possibility to load all elements of a single door in sequence, the line guarantees “just in time” production even in batch one, while maintaining the same final productivity. Besides working totally independently, the multi spindle heads installed on each single machine and the special workbenches featuring innovative design and fully automatic setup, guarantee extreme flexibility, high performance and accurate precision.

The barcode and QR Code reader automatically detects each incoming part and sends relevant machining information to the machines.
“Mechanical engineering and components are high quality, the technology is proven for industrial use, programming is intuitive with dedicated software, the setup is fully automatic, with no operator attendance and custom technology”.
